WinAutomation, as the name suggests, can automate the most boring tasks under your Windows environment. I didn’t purchase my copy (yet!), I’m using the trial version for 30 days to see how I can setup some of my daily routines on the computer on automation.
It’s really easy to use, unlike other automation software, you don’t have to be an experienced programmer to use it. If you are a SMART computer user, you should be doing fine with it. The automation instructions are presented in simple English.
Best of all, if you can’t figure how to automate something, you can contact their support with the maximum details of your task and they will guide you, even if you’re just using the trial.
Now, each automation process can be converted to a .exe file. That means that, the .exe file doesn’t require WinAutomation to be installed on your machine to run, so you can still use the .exe files you created even after the trial period is over.

PayPerPost is a unique kind of advertising network. The simple idea behind its advertising model is that advertisers can offer money to blog owners (publishers) to post about their websites and products.
The good thing about payperpost (PPP) is that they have a large number of opportunities in their database, so you can post about a product which you and your readers are interested about. Another important thing is that, you are not writing a sales page or promoting the site. You are only giving a honest review and you get paid for the post only, not affiliate commissions.
PPP is a company of IZEA, who also just launched a new paid blogging community called SocialSpark. PPP has been around for quite a while now and many bloggers are registered with them.
It can also be a way to promote your blog because advertisers can get in touch with you if they like what you write about. You can also be the “Blog of the Day”, which is a nice little feature which displays a blog that is gaining popularity in their network.
Also, all new bloggers get the opportunity to blog about PPP and you get $20 for that. Ok, it’s not a lot, but the opportunity is currently available to everyone and you just have to write a few words on your personal experience with them to get the money. That’s almost free money. Of course, they will need to approve the post and do some other procedures before sending the cash to your Paypal account. But, you don’t need to worry about all that. They pay on time.
They do have some strict rules and regulations for approving your blog in their network. I suggest you read them carefully before submitting your blog to be reviewed by PPP staff.

Scribd.com allows you to upload and share your documents in any major formats, such as PDF file, DOC file and PPT file. The cool thing is that when you share these files, one doesn’t have to download them, they can be viewed on the website with Scribd’s own document browser.

People are used to writing and publishing articles to article directories (like I do on EzineArticles), but this is an innovation to it. You not only publish your work to the world, but you can also get feedback from the Scribd’s community.
Other features include unlimited storage space for your files and the ability to embed the documents anywhere on the web.
The documents you share can be about anything (respectful!). It can be Ebooks, PowerPoint slideshows, music sheets, photos… just about any type of documents actually. So, go to Scribd, and start exploring their library, you might just find that recipe you have been looking for so long :)

When one is considering to put a website online, I believe, the most important decision to make is about the web hosting service. You are going to have a long term relationship with them, so you have to meke sure you choose a company with quality service, which fits your budget and provide helpful support when needed.
There are a number of web hosting providers out there now and comparing each can be a real headache. It’s worse for beginners who do not know what they are looking for exactly in their web host. The guys at WebHostingGeeks.com have done all the hard work for us. They have reviewed the best web hosts and ranked them so it becomes easier for you to make a decision.
On the website you will also find lots of useful information and web hosting articles.

A while ago, I made a post entitled “A first glance at SocialSpark.com“, where I mentioned the parent company behind them is IZEA. In my opinion, IZEA is definitely an innovative company when it comes to blog ads and blog marketing services.
These guys work hard to keep both publishers and advertisers happy. In just a little more than 2 years, they have established themselves as the leader in social media marketing.
On their website, you will also see a Solutions Sales Team page where you can contact their team and they will assist you in your campaigns. All you have to do, is fill the form on that page with your details and submit your questions and queries.
They also provide a number of other tools and strategies to make your social media marketing more effective on the world wide web. IZEA’s wide variety of services include sponsored blog posts, blog sponsorships, etc…
They also have a blog and forums where advertisers, publishers and the IZEA team can interact with each other. You can drop by on the blog and forums to learn about the new features and leave your feedback and also find answers to your questions, some of which might have previously answered by other members.
I have always liked the idea of being able to send SMS from the web. Mainly because it’s free and save my credits on my mobile but also I can type with my keyboard, so it’s faster and my fingers love the smoothness of my keyboard :-P
There was a time when I used to always have my mobile in my hands and just sending SMS all day long, whether I was in class, on the roads, in front of the TV, in the bus, just about anywhere actually. I was addicted to text messaging. Hopefully, I didn’t need rehab to stop this sms addiction, all that was needed was to be a broke international student in Australia. The last thing I would wanna do with my money at that time was to recharge my mobile credits. It was then that I discovered text messaging via the Web…
So anyways, cut the long story short, I have created a Squidoo lens dedicated to ways of sending free SMS from the web. I will try and continuously update it by pointing the short descriptions to the original blog post on FusionFoot.com. I still can’t believe I got the short name I wanted for this Squidoo lens. It’s a six-letter word, can you guest what it is? (You won’t find the word in a dictionary though)
It’s “websms”. Yes, it was still available on Squidoo, lucky me :-) So the lens’ full URL is http://www.squidoo.com/websms
Here is a screenshot of the WebSMS Squidoo lens (which, I suppose, looks like any other lens out there):

P.S. I also came across an interesting feature with Squidoo. It’s probably a new feature since I didn’t see it before. I will talk about it soon, so stay tuned [that is, subscribe to the RSS feeds (if you haven’t done so yet!)]
As we know, Japan is the leader in the world of gadgets. The features in Japanese cellphones will just blow you off. But I believe some phones can only be complicated only to a certain group, for example, the older people find some features complex to use.
“Steve Jobs’ new iPhone, expected to be unveiled Monday, is headed to Japan by the end of the year. But the device’s famed ease of use may actually be a put off in Japan, where consumers want features, not simplicity.”

What are the top annoyances on social networks according to you?
I have been blogging a lot about a few of the many social networks out there. I used to NOT be involved too much in social networks, the only profile I had and updated once a while was on Hi5. Then recently, I got into the “tweeting” or “twittering” mania, so much that now my blog posts are automatically twittered on my page.
Then I had my Facebook account, I had been resisting the temptation to open an account, but I couldn’t resist it anymore. So anyways, I came across this interesting list of annoyances of social networks which is worth a read.
“It’s great to keep in touch with your friends and colleagues, but does the price have to be spam, zombie bites, and friend invitations from people you’ve never heard of?”

“Web 2.0 companies need to get a better understanding of the host entity that runs their business, the Internet. If not, they need to need to find someone that does, preferably someone they bring in at inception. Failing to do so will inevitably cost these companies users, performance and money.”
These days, everything around the corner is a Web 2.0 site. I personally see them just as better sites, better web design and better web development. So, what happened to Web 1.0?? These Web 2.0, mostly social networks, like Twitter, Facebook, MySpace and SO many others are popping up everyday just like some years ago, during the dot COM boom, dot COM sites were popping up for every business…

You have a blog and a Twitter account, and you want to share your blog posts with your contacts and friends every time you publish an update on your blog. You can do it manually by going in your Twitter account and post a link to your blog post every time, or you can follow the instructions and tips below to get it automated.
I first opened my Twitter account because I wanted to share the stuffs which I blog about there. But, the problem was, most of the time after I completed a post and published it, I didn’t feel like going on Twitter immediately to post a link to the blog post. Then, later I would forget and this way I ended up not sharing most of the good stuffs.
So I did some research online and found out there is a really easy(and free) way to automate all this blog-post-sharing-on-twitter headache. TwitterFeed.com will get your RSS feeds twittering in no time.

You will also need an OpenID, which is used to provide a single sign in to many websites. With only one username, you can forget all your other passowords. You can your OpenID for free at MyViDoop.com.

The interesting thing about MyViDoop is that your “password” is actually 3 categories that you will have to pick from a list of images and remember them for future use. Then, the next time, when you log in, you will have to select the categories you picked from other lists of images. I believe this is a great way of keeping access to your various accounts highly secure. All you have to remember is your 3 categories, the order in which they were selected is not important.
Once you get your OpenID, you can use it to login to TwitterFeed and submit your blog details and set an interval for checking your feeds. That’s it, you are all done. Now your blog will be checked every time after this interval and any new blog post you made will be shared on your Twitter account.
