PayPerPost Homepage

PayPerPost is a unique kind of advertising network. The simple idea behind its advertising model is that advertisers can offer money to blog owners (publishers) to post about their websites and products.

The good thing about payperpost (PPP) is that they have a large number of opportunities in their database, so you can post about a product which you and your readers are interested about. Another important thing is that, you are not writing a sales page or promoting the site. You are only giving a honest review and you get paid for the post only, not affiliate commissions.

PPP is a company of IZEA, who also just launched a new paid blogging community called SocialSpark. PPP has been around for quite a while now and many bloggers are registered with them.

It can also be a way to promote your blog because advertisers can get in touch with you if they like what you write about. You can also be the “Blog of the Day”, which is a nice little feature which displays a blog that is gaining popularity in their network.

Also, all new bloggers get the opportunity to blog about PPP and you get $20 for that. Ok, it’s not a lot, but the opportunity is currently available to everyone and you just have to write a few words on your personal experience with them to get the money. That’s almost free money. Of course, they will need to approve the post and do some other procedures before sending the cash to your Paypal account. But, you don’t need to worry about all that. They pay on time.

They do have some strict rules and regulations for approving your blog in their network. I suggest you read them carefully before submitting your blog to be reviewed by PPP staff.

I am an expert author on EzineArticles (EZA), which is something I would have never imagined a few years ago. The reason is because in high school, I hated writing. Actually, I didn’t hate it, but it was always so boring, because I was often asked to write about topics I was least interested in.

These days, I submit a lot of articles to EZA, so I decided to add their widget which displays my recent articles appearing on their website. For those who don’t know, EZA is one of the best article directories on the web, ask any article marketer, they surely will know EzineArticles.

Now I enjoy writing, this blog is one proof, since the last few months, I have been “chatting” so much. Obviously, I always write about topics that interest me, which is why I named this blog, Step In My Fusion World.

Anyways, here’s a screenshot of the widget, that you will find completely at the bottom below the MyBlogLog widget.

Win A Free Domain

I have been busy lately with my job, my blogging activities, and my affiliate marketing adventures. I really feel like I have no free time at all (although I do find some time watch TV everyday :-P). So, I’m trying to get rid of some unnecessary stress from my mind, building and promoting more sites is one of the stress.

Anyways, I’ll get straight to the point, because I know you want to know what’s the deal about this free domain. Well, I have a couple of websites and domains that are lying there, gathering virtual dust. One of the domains that I’m not using is ourweddingfavors.info, and since I’m such a cool guy, I have decided that I will give it away for free to anyone who gives me a good reason why I should give him or her the domain.

If you go the domain URL right now, you will see a nice looking website with wedding favors as in the screen shot below:

wedding favors site

You can have the same website too, it’s not much complicated. The site is actually provided by a ad network called Chitika. If aren’t a Chitika publisher, sign up with them and when you login to you account, you will see the “Chitika For Domains” feature, that’s what I used to point the domain to the site. You can also follow the instructions on the site and do the same if you like, after I transfer the domain to you. It’s easy, you only have to point the domain to the webhost address of Chitika.

By the way, “wedding favors” is a profitable niche which gets lots of searches but has low competition, at least I know it had low competition when I registered the domain some months ago.

The domain expires on Wed 02/25/2009, so you have plenty of time to play around with it, before you decide to keep it (by renewing the registration) or not.

That’s it. Simply comment on this post. I’ll approve the post and on 5th July 2008, I will pick the winner and contact him or her by the email provided to push the domain name freely to the winner’s Namecheap account. If you don’t have one, you can get one for free.

If you have any questions, just post it here as well. Remember, your comments are not going appear instantly, because I personally moderate and approve each comment for this blog. So, no need to re-submit if you don’t see your comment immediatley :)

UPDATE:

This contest is extended till 12th of July 2008. Waiting for more comments!

2ND UPDATE:

This contest is now over, and the winner is “Nehna”. I will contact the person with the email provided for the domain transfer.

Get A Free .CO.CC Domain

co-cc-homepage

Get your free.co.cc domain, which you can use for domain mapping. That is, you can use the domain to map it to your existing web presence such as a free blog or photo album, etc.

This way, it makes the ugly-looking and long urls more appealing to the eyes and which can be easily remembered. But you have to hurry before someone registers your favorite domain name.

That’s not all, you can also create customized email to your .co.cc domain name, for example yourname@yourdomain.co.cc! So, go and search for the domain you want, if it is available register it today and it’s yours.

I Have Been Matched. And You?

Matched.co.uk bannerMatched.co.uk is a website that has been around since last year (I think). What is great about it, is that it has a cool new income generating system for sites with low traffic. Usually, when someone wants to monetize their site, they would simply chuck in some ad code from Google Adsense or one of the similar ad networks. The problem here is that the site owner will only earn money if the ads are clicked by visitors. And since the site is getting very low traffic, the clicks will be little to none.

So, with Matched.co.uk, there is no waiting for clicks. All you have to do is to place the ad they have matched to your webpage and leave it there and you will be paid £3 per month for as long as the ad is live. You can actually put the ads on 5 pages per site and you can add 5 sites to your account. If all your webpages are matched, that’s not a bad sum of money for doing nothing, according to me.

So far, out of my 25 webpages, only 3 have been matched. You can see one example on the Structured Settlements page on FusionFoot.com. Let’s wait and see if the rest get matched. I believe, publishers are rushing to use this new network, hence why they are taking to match all the webpages.

In the meantime, you can also refer your friends to the website and when they sign up, you will get £5. Therefore, if you haven’t joined them yet and would like me to get £5 on your sign up, then why don’t you do so here ;)

Take care!

P.S. I believe one pound is approximately two dollars (for those who are still wondering)!

P.P.S. The company pays worldwide, so you don’t have to be in U.K. to apply.

If you scroll down to the bottom of this blog, you will notice something new that I added a few days ago. It’s right next to the MyBlogLog widget, in the last column. I like to call the “Tip Jar” and here is how it looks like:

Our Tip Jar

The basic idea behind this is the same as those donation buttons you have seen on many sites, except that now, you get something in return too, which is a link in the widget for a period of time. There is also the option to show image links instead of text links. Once again, the links have the nofollow tag, so search enigines are happy too ;)

Why would someone donate or give tips to a site?

I used to think the same too, but many bloggers (including me, in some cases) spend a lot time doing research on a topic and share the information for free on their blogs. So if you loved the post and want to give something in return to the blogger, you might want to donate some money or tip the blogger for his efforts. And now, the tip jar makes it easier!

The tip jar is fun and easy to use and you have full control of the links you want to appear on the widget or not. So go ahead, get your own top spot list(or tip jar)!

SocialSpark Homepage

The much awaited social network for advertisers and bloggers, SocialSpark is finally live(since some weeks already). I think it’s a great idea and at last bloggers and advertisers can create good relationships with each other, in a friendly social environment. This will certainly make it easier for advertisers looking to sponsor blog posts to find the right bloggers based on their interests, and also vice versa. Plus, you can create avatars too!!

I also created an account as a blogger with them today and submitted FusionFoot.com to get reviewed by one of their staff members before I can take full advantage of their services. They asked me so much detail about my blog, but I filled them patiently. It’s good to know that they are taking every bit of details into consideration.

Check out my SocialSpark profile, and if you want, you can join the community and connect with me.

The guys at SocialSpark also have their own Real Rank for ranking the blogs based on the number of unique visitors and page views, a bit like how Alexa ranks a site. The links will contain the “nofollow” attribute. So, that means the search engines (I mean Google) will be happy and the Google PR is not going to be manipulated. And now, advertisers can move away from looking for search engine benefits from sponsored posts and concentrate more on real traffic and conversion. Blog posts will also require a disclosure badge.

One of the other cool features of SocialSpark is the blog sponsorship, which basically, is an advertisement that pops up and minimizes to the bottom of the display. It’s definitely not one of those annoying popups. Recently, some of the bloggers had some complaints about the width of the advert when it minimizes to the bottom, so the guys at IZEA changed the with. They are actually looking for fruitful comments from their members to continuously improve their system.

Oh, by the way, IZEA is the parent company of PayPerPost and SocialSpark.

This post is sponsored by SocialSpark.

The Spooky Psychic Popup

Have you noticed what happens when you place your cursor near the exit button?

The psychic popup

That’s the new psychic popup script that I injected in the header of this blog. It pop ups everytime you approach the the exit button, so that’s when it guesses that you are about to close the browser and pop ups the last minute message. I find this pretty cool. For the time being I’ve put the subscription form to the feeds on the popup because I’m still hungry for more readers.

Unfortunately, the script the software generates is encrypted so I still haven’t figured how it does this. But I’m pretty sure it’s a very simple script, just like the unblockable popups that appears when a webpage is loaded. When I have some time, I’ll look into this and if I do manage to write the script, I’ll share it with you all.

As much I as wanted to share this script generator with you, I can’t because I don’t have the giveaway rights but I do have the master resell rights. So, if I can’t write the script that does this, those who are interested can still buy it from it.

UPDATE: After the discussion below with Thion, I have decided to take out the psychic popup from this blog, so you will no longer see it. I think the script was not compatible with some browsers.
