If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

WARNING: This video is not intended for the weak hearted. Please seek medical advice first.

Just kidding! It’s just a optical illusion video. After you stare the center of the video for some minutes, you might start seeing aliens around you :-P I wonder why some of the comments said it’s scary, it didn’t scare me at all. Or maybe I should have stared for an hour. After which I’m sure I would have puked.

Try it if you dare…

Authenticating FusionFoot.com on MyBlogLog

Undergoing MyBlogLog Verification

Sorry about this “dummy post” guys. It’s a required step to authenticate this blog on MyBlogLog by placing the above link in a post and request authentication from MyBloglog.

UPDATE: Oh well, after authenticating it says I can remove this post and the link, but I’ll leave it just so that others who visit know about this step for veritying their blog. I almost missed it myself.

Today I took a day off at my current job to attend an interview for which I submitted the application almost two months ago. It was for the post of an Assistant Information Technology Lecturer at the Technical School Management Trust Fund. Well, I must say, this is my first interview so far where I have been interviewed by seven people at a time. Actually I’m not even sure if there were seven, I wasn’t counting (lol!).

The funny thing though is that I wasn’t feeling as tensed as I used to be feeling for my earlier interviews which had lesser interviewers. There was a girl in the waiting room who asked me if I’m tensed (she was obviously looking tensed - so I didn’t have to ask) and my answer was “not at all”.

I think I’m doing some improvement in my interview skills, but I don’t think I will get this job. There were many other candidates who had more experience than me. I have just a few months of working experience, that too as a software engineer, not in the teaching field. Anyways, I’m still not sure what I wanna do in life, whether I go towards programming, information security or just start teaching. I believe for many people in this world, there is that one stage of their life where they get a bit confused about the decisions to take for the better future. I guess I’m going through that stage right now.

But I would really prefer getting on Internet Marketing full-time. I need to be sure it can be a reliable and continual source of income before I take a decision like that. Who knows what’s waiting ahead. Let’s just hope everything is gonna go well for everyone.

Security professionals who take part in the annual hacking contest will now have even more reasons to part with their latest vulnerabilities: Up to 20,000 more reasons infact.

On Monday, security firm Tipping Point agreed to offer up to $20,000 as a prize to the first person to compromise each of three laptops running popular operating systems…

Finally a good use of my Pocket PC

I have had my first and only Pocket PC, a NEC MobilePro, since years (I can’t even remember when I bought it) and almost never used it. The only few times I used was to play games and put pictures in it to show my friends.

So now, finally I’ll be using my palmtop for some real work. Since I travel a lot daily, around 3 hours, I thought I could use the PDA do some work for my website such as re-writing and editing content articles for my sites.

And even better, I dont have to carry an MP3 player anymore, I can put my songs on it and listen while I work, is this multi-tasking or what? The problem though is it doesn’t have a lot of memory space so I will have to get one of theose Secure Digital memory disks (the miniature version of floppy disk )

This feels kinda motivating, for one, because I always hated the idea that I was wasting hours travelling to and from work. And when I reach home, I can just lie infront of the TV an relax, which is something I don’t get to do and enjoy during weekdays.

Anyways, that’s it from me for today. See you all soon.

P.S. Did you notice that I used the names Pocket PC, PDA and palmtop in this post? That’s simply because I’m confused myself at how a little device like that can have so many names.

Happy New Year 2008

Happy New Year 2008 everyone!

And if anyone was trying to rank on the first page of Google for the keyword “happy new year 2008? and was not very successful, so maybe it’s time you start optimizing your site for “happy new year 2009? from now. You’ll have better chances .

Ok, I’m just kidding. I’m talking about keywords today because one of my blogs has one page ranked on the first page of Google of a popular keyword and that’s a pretty great new year’s gift for me. It kinda gave me the motivation to work more and get more pages.

Well, enough about my website stories. I hope you all have a very good year ahead and have loads of fun, be happy and always smiling. I can’t believe one year went so fast and I spent half of the year in Australia and half here in Mauritius. I was here last year as well, for Christmas and New Year and then I went to complete my last semester in Melbourne again, stayed there till July and flew back home after I got my results. I have to admit I got the worst results in the last semester than any of the previous semesters, but who cares, I passed. That’s the most important.

I’m hoping this year will go fast too, coz I’m gonna be working this whole year. I wanna become “good” in Software Development by the end of this year. I wonder when I will be able to develop software on my own. Right now, the stuffs i’m doing is pretty simple and boring too. The team I’m working is great! I like the place!

So guys… see you all next year!

welcome, bienvenue, willkommen, namaste…

Hello and welcome to the new FusionFoot.com!

“Step in my Fusion World”

I believe this domain fits well for the above theme. I intend to post reviews about stuffs here, stuffs that I like and which I wanna tell you about.

At first, I was thinking of registering stuffs-revisited.com for this blog, but I didn’t like the name too much, because it has a dash and the name is longer as well. By the way, I didn’t register stuffs-revisited.com, so if you wanna grab that domain, hurry up to your domain registrar. I used Namecheap, but GoDaddy is also not bad.

Also, once I get some pagerank for this blog, I’ll join a PPP (Pay Per Post) company. For the time being, I’m just gonna use Google Adsense and affiliate links to monetize the blog. Rest assured, I’m not here only to make money but to provide quality information and unbiased reviews of products.

I have also plenty of spots for selling advertising space on the blog. For now, I’ll put a low price but once I gain some popularity in the World Wide Web, I will gradually increase the prices. So if you have any website or promote that you wanna promote, grab a 125×125 spot, the next time you visit the price might go up.

This is not really a niche blog, it’s more of a general topic blog. I will gradually add more categories while writing posts in future. I will also talk a bit about myself, my visions and plans for future and so on (and if you wanna skip that, you can - on offense will be taken :->). I guess “Personal” would be a category that will be appropriate when I do my rants and all.

For the next few days, I will be working on the Wordpress template and add some of my favorite widgets and links to my favorite sites, and also maybe I’ll “burn” the RSS feeds with feedburner so you can subscribe to that and you will be notified by email when I make a new post.

Till then, if you wanna bore yourself reading more about me, you can do so at the About Me page.
