I have always liked the idea of being able to send SMS from the web. Mainly because it’s free and save my credits on my mobile but also I can type with my keyboard, so it’s faster and my fingers love the smoothness of my keyboard :-P

There was a time when I used to always have my mobile in my hands and just sending SMS all day long, whether I was in class, on the roads, in front of the TV, in the bus, just about anywhere actually. I was addicted to text messaging. Hopefully, I didn’t need rehab to stop this sms addiction, all that was needed was to be a broke international student in Australia. The last thing I would wanna do with my money at that time was to recharge my mobile credits. It was then that I discovered text messaging via the Web

So anyways, cut the long story short, I have created a Squidoo lens dedicated to ways of sending free SMS from the web. I will try and continuously update it by pointing the short descriptions to the original blog post on FusionFoot.com. I still can’t believe I got the short name I wanted for this Squidoo lens. It’s a six-letter word, can you guest what it is? (You won’t find the word in a dictionary though)

It’s “websms”. Yes, it was still available on Squidoo, lucky me :-)  So the lens’ full URL is http://www.squidoo.com/websms

Here is a screenshot of the WebSMS Squidoo lens (which, I suppose, looks like any other lens out there):

P.S. I also came across an interesting feature with Squidoo. It’s probably a new feature since I didn’t see it before. I will talk about it soon, so stay tuned [that is, subscribe to the RSS feeds (if you haven’t done so yet!)]
