Win A Free Domain

I have been busy lately with my job, my blogging activities, and my affiliate marketing adventures. I really feel like I have no free time at all (although I do find some time watch TV everyday :-P). So, I’m trying to get rid of some unnecessary stress from my mind, building and promoting more sites is one of the stress.

Anyways, I’ll get straight to the point, because I know you want to know what’s the deal about this free domain. Well, I have a couple of websites and domains that are lying there, gathering virtual dust. One of the domains that I’m not using is ourweddingfavors.info, and since I’m such a cool guy, I have decided that I will give it away for free to anyone who gives me a good reason why I should give him or her the domain.

If you go the domain URL right now, you will see a nice looking website with wedding favors as in the screen shot below:

You can have the same website too, it’s not much complicated. The site is actually provided by a ad network called Chitika. If aren’t a Chitika publisher, sign up with them and when you login to you account, you will see the “Chitika For Domains” feature, that’s what I used to point the domain to the site. You can also follow the instructions on the site and do the same if you like, after I transfer the domain to you. It’s easy, you only have to point the domain to the webhost address of Chitika.

By the way, “wedding favors” is a profitable niche which gets lots of searches but has low competition, at least I know it had low competition when I registered the domain some months ago.

The domain expires on Wed 02/25/2009, so you have plenty of time to play around with it, before you decide to keep it (by renewing the registration) or not.

That’s it. Simply comment on this post. I’ll approve the post and on 5th July 2008, I will pick the winner and contact him or her by the email provided to push the domain name freely to the winner’s Namecheap account. If you don’t have one, you can get one for free.

can chithika be used with adsense? Will that be a problem? Anyway good information, Should look in to this…

Chitika can be used with Adsense if you disable contextualization. It is actually disabled by default, so no problem. You will find more information about compliance with Adsense in the FAQ section of Chitika website.

I have heard about them but never gave them a try, How well do they pay compared to adsense?

It depends on your niche actually. I know they pay quite well for Televisions and Cameras ads. Their ads are very innovative too.

Will the name of the domain be same or can we change.
because when i typed the name into address bar, it is being directed to yahoo search.

oops, I did a mistype in the original post, I just edited it, the domain is http://www.ourweddingfavors.info

you can’t change the domain name but you can change the site if you have a webhost/webserver

ok… it seems to me that everybody wants the domain but not sure what they are going to do with it. If I’m giving the domain away to someone, it’s for him or her to put it to use and not keep it unused. So far, I haven’t got any comment that makes me feel I should give the domain to that person for FREE. Let’s wait and see…

Hi Zub,

Thanks for putting up this contest. I was actually looking for a wedding favors domain. Although I agree with you, it’s a profitable niche, there is not many domain available with the words “wedding” and “favors” in it.

If I get this domain, I will use it for the same purpose you’re using and I will actively promote it on classifieds ads site selling wedding favors. I will also write some articles and submit them to article directories to promote the domain.

Hope I get it :-)
