When I introduced the WebSMS Squidoo Lens some days ago, I mentioned coming across a new(or not!) feature on Squidoo. It’s the Twitter feature that quickly(in one click) sends a tweet to your profile when you make updates on your lenses.
To set it up, go to “My Profile” after logging in your Squidoo Dashboard. That’s currently the 5th orange tab from the left on the dashboard. Once there, scroll completely to the bottom and you will see “Social Application Settings”. that’s where you connect your Twitter account to your Squidoo account.
After entering your Twitter username and password, you can test if you have correctly setup everything. You will see the following message at this point:

Note that for this test, Squidoo will send a test message as a tweet and it will appear as follows in your Twitter profile:

That’s it! Very easy to setup and and you can quickly inform all your followers whenever you make updates to your lens. You will actually see this option everytime you publish your lens, just click on it and the tweet is twittered :-p
