What Do You Do When There Is No Electricity At Home

Hi all,

Tonight, just when I was about to sit at the computer to write a website review, the lights went off. I spent 2 years living in the suburbs and city of Melbourne in Australia and as far as I can remember, not once it happened that there was no electricity. And here in Mauritius I have been here since about 9-10 months and there has been more or less 20 electricity cuts.

Although the island is a paradise to live on, there is still so much progress and development to be made. So anyways, yesterday I wasted my time checking Facebook emails and today I wasted my time sitting idle in the darkness praying for the lights to come back. Finally the lights are back, but again it’s almost time to go to bed.

I try to get my minimum 6 hours sleep on week days else I would be yawning all day at work :-P

So, what do you do when there is no electricity at home?
